Care Guide — Label Frow
01
Washing
Hand Wash, Cold Water
Always wash in cold water using a gentle, pH-neutral detergent. Turn the garment inside out before washing to protect embellishments and the outer surface. Never wring, press water out gently.
02
Drying
Hang to Dry, Always
Hang your garment on a padded hanger away from direct sunlight. Never use a tumble dryer, heat damages delicate fabrics and causes shrinkage. Allow to air dry naturally in a well-ventilated space.
03
Professional Care
Dry Clean for Best Results
For heavily embellished or structured pieces, dry cleaning is always recommended. Always inform your dry cleaner of any embellishments or special detailing before handing over the garment.

Golden Rules of Garment Care

  • 01
    Store with intention

Hang your Label Frow pieces on padded hangers in a cool, dry wardrobe. Avoid overcrowding, fabrics need space to breathe. For delicate pieces, use a cotton garment bag to protect from dust and friction.

  • 02
    Never iron directly

Always use a pressing cloth or steam iron held at a distance. Direct contact with a hot iron can permanently damage embellishments, pleating, and synthetic fibres. When in doubt, steam is always safer.

  • 03
Keep away from perfume & deodorant

Spray perfume and deodorant before dressing. These products contain alcohol and oils that can stain or weaken fabric fibres over time, especially on lighter coloured garments.

  • 04
    Address stains immediately

Blot, never rub, a stain as soon as it happens. Use cold water and a mild detergent. For stubborn or set-in stains, take the garment to a professional dry cleaner as soon as possible.

  • 05
    Wash less, wear more

Over-washing is one of the leading causes of fabric deterioration. Air garments out after wearing rather than washing every time. This preserves colour, texture, and the garment's overall lifespan.

    Read the label

Every Label Frow garment comes with a care label. These are our specific recommendations for that particular fabric and construction. Always refer to the label before attempting to wash a new piece.

Treat your garments well and they will stay with you for years. If you ever have questions about caring for a specific piece, we're always here to help.
